As our Accounting Manager, you will have an exciting opportunity to work with and contribute to something truly groundbreaking within the music industry. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, developing and streamlining Tracklib’s internal and external accounting processes such as handling reporting and accounting across the finance, catalog, and support departments. You will do this by communicating with Tracklib’s customers and partners regarding the accounting process within music licensing and rights.
As you can see, this is a broad role where you are responsible for the accounting function, managing the full range of accounting activities and tasks as well as developing processes. This also means that you are a huge part of Tracklib's journey, where you, as we grow, will have the opportunity to take on new assignments and grow with us. We are a distributed team with a remote-first approach, but since we truly value actual face time too, we try to meet up at our Stockholm office at Södermalm regularly. And if you wish to, you are also welcome to work from there.
Tasks in this role:
- Monthly financial reports including income and royalty reporting
- Year-end reporting
- Reporting to our licensors
- Responsible for and running existing accounting processes in Sweden
- Further develop parts of existing accounting processes
- Manage outsourcing partner - accounting and payroll

To be successful and enjoy this role we see that you have a numerical analytical ability when solving tasks in a quick and correct way with the best quality. You have a drive and always want to develop and improve your way of working and finding the best ways of organizing tasks. We see that you are experienced in defining and establishing accounting routines and processes where you take responsibility in your way of working when organizing and structuring them.
As you will connect with many parts of the organization, we believe you need to have great communication and time management skills. Meritorious would be if you have an interest in the music industry or might even have practical experience from a similar role within music licensing/music rights. - Bachelor's degree or higher in finance, accounting, or equivalent required
- Several years of experience from accounting, auditing or financial controlling
- Experienced with digital tools and strong knowledge of Excel
- Fluency (written and verbal) in English (we are a Swedish company with colleagues all over the world).
